woah! no post for the whole month of september, not to mention, no post for almost 2 months! nice deevs, nice one... you haven't been posting much then now your laziness strikes again... oh cmon! ^_^

neways, i'll prolly make this post quick and a short one...

the past few weeks/months have been quite interesting... there has been so much stuff happening, that i can't seem to put them all in words hehe, maybe in time i can and i would... hmmm and oh yeah, watch out for my "news" anytime soon... most prolly next week or so, just wait and watch out hehe! i ought to tell this to everyone...

nowadays, my friends have been influencing me a lot, and they are actually changing my course of life... well truly, i am grateful and thankful for getting to know them, for having them... they've actually brought more meaning and purpose to my life... i've realized that small things do really count, they really do! and these small things create a bigger whole... oh, enough of those cliches hehe...

i just got home and can't get to sleep right away, i dunno why... i should be sleeping now, it's past 4 am and i have to bring my sister to the AGS fair tom morning (i mean later at 10am), along with her friends, too! well i've told her to just wake me up... me bringing you guys there is completely okay, of course! anything for my dear sister ^_^

a while ago, i was with marc, ruel, terry, and matt... actually, marc and i met up in shangrila first, got to play some dm and gf, and since we're waiting for ruel, we managed to play some marvel vs capcom 2 first to kill some more time hehe... then ruel came at last, and we went off to rockwell for some gfdmv and videoke as well and since marc and i brought transpo, we've decided to bring both and just park it there in rockwell since the parking fee there is flat-rate... so there, we played a few gfdmv games, i even bumped to my former orgmates (RegCom) who are now taking up law in ateneo rockwell, then went over to the videoke rooms... marc sung the first song... i think it was momoiro kataomoi (jpop by aya matsuura - also a dm song hehe!) then something went wrong with the machine... after the grade, it immediately plays the song again so we reported the problem to a staff then when he was trying to fix it, he accidentally credited 9 games in the machine and gave it to us for free weeee!!! basically we've got 18 free songs coz the machine would always give a grade of mostly 100s... and it is a rule that when u get a 95+ grade, you get a free credit LOL! nice!!!

after the long, fun, and laugh-trip videoke session we had, we now headed towards makati to eat at magoo's pizza... we had the 16-piece pizza, and each one also got a pizza dog (yum!) pig out time!!! yeah bebeh... ^_^ actually, this was my first time to eat at magoo's as far as i can remember coz i was thinkin maybe the last time was when i was still a kid... hmmm... after that, we decided to go home, but when i was gettin my car back in rockwell, we've thought we can still hang out and have some coffee in starbucks just around the corner... and we've talked about some sensitive issues and personal stuff... hehe! okay!... so much about that... then at around 2:30 or near 3pm, we've decided to call it a night and go home... ^_^ weeee!!! whatta day...

i guess my post wasn't that short after all LOL... there's still so much ideas i wanna share and they're stuck here in my head but my brain isn't functioning right anymore... too tired i guess, maybe next time hehe.... *yawn* i'm off to bed...

and so it came after centuries, millenia, and ages... i'm back! with a vengeance... hell yeah, that's right! i have lots to make-up for over here... honestly enough, i have been lazy all these days to post somethin new... and my dear friends over here at my tagboard are nagging me to make a new one so here it is! but i'm kinda not sure what to put in though... i just got home and i'm quite tired to think and reflect on the happenings and all the ideas i've internalized over and over... *sigh* oh well...

i just got home... it's past 12 midnight, so it's my auntie's birthday (aug. 5) ... happy birthday nanay edna! we call her nanay ever since our childhood days so we just kinda got used to that already... of course i'm not sure if she'll be able to read this, she even lives in tarlac but, who cares, it's the thought that counts! imma greet her in a while as well... ^_^

so there, maybe i'll just give a run-down of today's events (aug. 4)...

afternoon: barry, kevin and i went to this talent agency for a VTR (courtesy of aaron mempin) in makati cityland... the name of the agency is FrameFillers i think... and since it was all our first time, we were quite nervous and excited at the same time... the scheduled time was 2-5pm... we all met at shaw mrt station, got off at buendia station, and took the FX... and we were able to reach the place at around 1:45... to our surprise, we were the only people there, contrary to what we've expected that a lot of people will come in quite early too... as soon as we got there, we were welcomed by a certain christine, and we were asked to fill up a personal profile sheet and after a lil while, we were called one by one for the VTR shoot... well, it turned out that it's quite simple! we just have to smile, face different angles, a short interview, and some sample actings for a certain product... after that, we will just be notified as soon as there are available slots for any ad/commercial/etc... it turns out that supposedly, we were the only ones who would go that day so after the shoot, we chit-chatted with christine for a few minutes before leavin...

after a while, we decided to go to the mall (g4) to go around a bit, eat, and i'd play drummania hehe... so we took the bus, dropped us near manila pen, went to the underground tunnel (hey it's quite clean and peaceful now compared years before), then crossed greenbelt and landmark... we passed by a store at gb3 where there were displays of batman, lord of the rings items, etc... and the place was just so cool! we saw saruman and gandalf's staves... eowyn, ringwraith, and king theoden's swords... gimli's axes, etc... they were all actual replicas and we were like, wooooaaah! so we moved on and when we got to g4, we decided to eat at wendy's (near the cinemas) so as to try the "boom" meals and be near timezone as well hehe! after the hearty late lunch, i immediately went to the drummania v machine and swiped my 2 free credits... yay! but i have to wait for 3 more people since they are ahead... and there, i saw KR, glen (kenji), james, and redj... too bad kezia (saeki) left the place a little while ago so i didn't see her... there, i played a few games, but managed to fail both my final songs...

so after that, we went down and we chanced upon some toy stores to check out on some stuff... while we were at kidzstation (still in G4) i told them i'll be back, i forgot my jacket in the drummania machine! good thing when i got back, it was still there... then we went to toy kingdom at sm makati, and we looked around in the action figures section where there were figures of spawn, military, LotR, starwars, etc... actually, barry collects action figures and die-cast vintage/sports cars already, and kevin wants to start on with the action figures hobby as well so he bought his first toy, the darkman... worth around P500... hmmm, it made me think to start with that same hobby too... cool!

then we decided to leave and go on our own ways... we still managed to ride the mrt together but they got off at shaw, and i, at ortigas, coz that night, my dad and i, along with my dad's colleagues will again have a business meeting... this time with legacy again and nextvoice, a voip/telephony company... here, i won't go down to details anymore, but we started at around 6:30 and ended at around 10pm... it was quite long, but nonetheless, fruitful enough... this might be our big break then ^_^

weekend plans:
friday: myt be either at g4, shang, or gateway...
saturday: ortigas area (mega and shang) for the GC EB, and after, Sherwin's inuman at philam
sunday: might visit at sm north to met GC ppl... and also to shang if ever mel and dyan will be there after their upcat (session play!!!) ^_^

oh yeah, since i have quite some free time nowadays, i've decided to apply as a part-time tutor in Ahead Megamall... why? for me, that's one of the most noble jobs in the world... being a teacher... i've always dreamt of teaching... and i wish i will be given the chance to do so... will keep you guys informed about this soon if all things go as planned...

friday: the business meeting went great... if not, perfect! the president of the company was very pleased, interested, and excited about the plans we've presented to them... so come monday, i'll start drafting the survey already... all i need is to look for my Systems Analysis and Design (SAD) book because there's a chapter there about surveying...

i also need to do other stuff (hope this would serve as a reminder list):
-photocopy my driver's license
-make a letter for the president
-schedule a meeting with Waters Philippines and get an inside scoop on their product and market
-research on the company: Hexagon
-start compiling what i need to burn for radius and sonar

saturday: this is the EB day for gamer clan... and also, drummania day as we all say it... i was able to go to mega quite earlly (around 2pm) and there i met lots of old and new faces... during the afternoon, most of the time i was with sonar, mel, tessa, and monica (rinoa)... i also saw kuro, pboi, and at last, i met mao (bluecloudstrife) and tin (hitomi_kanzaki)... most of us played dm and gf, just taking turns and overall, just merely enjoying each other's company... later on, i went to Shangrila with jeff (PPF) to play some session games (DM10th & GF11th) and there we met habble (the dm grand master) and ryan (hidden PPF character) and jeff and I were able to unlock Model DD6 on the machine and this is very rare! but we managed to pull it off *yay* then i went back to mega and there i stayed with roy (radius) and luna... til we left before 10pm... great goin! ^_^ i really felt great and alive that day!

sunday: this morning, we went to Miriam High School to have mass with my sister there for the YFC... after that we ate at The Old Spaghetti House, and if my memory serves me right, i think i had... chicken piccata with angel hair pommodoro (?) and it was really good! then i went to g4 to have some drummania v games, and there i saw karlo and mark of PPF, and also pboi and jet of GC...

then i went to shangrila around past 630pm and played some dm10th, and met with marc and we had session games, courtesy of kuya errol (QPS staff) who gave us 4 free drummania games and 2 free guitarfreaks games (woah! that's a lot man! thanks kuya errol!)

*i just remembered this story: i was introduced before to a certain mark dapiton by my dad's colleagues... he's just in his early 30's, married, and his life before was miserable... his wife is the breadwinner of the family... every morning, mark would wait for a tricycle that is full and he would just hang at the back to save money... his lunch is just one hand-scoop of water... and one day, he decided to do network marketing and through that, now he earns P900,000 a week, and that's P3.6 million a month!!! not bad hehe... not bad at all... you can play dm all day long hehe.. even buy yourself your own machine! haha... but yeah, someday, we'll be there... well, if he was able to do it, why can't i or we? ...i'm really high hopes for that! ^_^

it's been a long long time since i've posted here... i've only started this blog thing weeks ago and still, i've only got three posts... talk about consistency! well, i've been busy here and then, and sometimes i just don't feel like writing... oh well! i guess here i go again... (the reason why i started to write now is becoz i bumped my head a while ago and it sounded *blag* so i thought of "blog" so there i wrote! lolz)

of course! first and foremost, happy birthday to my lil sister mitch! she just turned 14 today... but today, she will stay in school til sunday noon, coz she just joined YFC, and this weekend is their first camp ^_^

today is a crucial day... i will be presenting to the board of directors and top management people of Legacy my project proposal for its Millionaires Club (MC) members... basically, Legacy has more or less 3000 members that are earning a minimum of a million Pesos every month and the initial project is to provide its MC members a survey of their needs and wants like places to travel, fitness/health-related programs, dining, consumer items, cars, etc... and through the obtained information, we will be able to develop programs that would tie us up with various other companies to give them benefits, discounts, and privileges as being an MC member of Legacy. In the long run, the main objective of this project is to (1) For Legacy: to boost the company's publicity and to gain more partnerships with other companies and in the process, Legacy to boost its membership; (2) For MC members: to provide them with privileges and services they deserve; (3) For non-MC members: to be motivated to work harder to reach the MC level. *phew*... that served as a brief review... ^_^

last Wednesday, we watched War or the Worlds on its opening day... well i could say the movie is pretty impressive though i didn't like the plot/storyline that much, let's say i've just had too much sci-fi flicks of the same sense... i liked the effects and all, but it's just too Spielbergy... just like A.I. which i find gloomy and dragging (though the concept is nice) i'd give WotW 8/10... (I forgot to mention on my last post, i'd give Batman Begins a 9.5/10)

oh... and what about drummania nowadays? well ever since i've started doing manual bass a few weeks ago, nowadays my leg starts to hurt... i'm thinkin maybe i just need some rest, but err... i can't help it! i can only stop playing maybe for a day... so playing dm every other day is bearable for me... but weekends? unless i'm out of town or something, i'd hit the malls and play! i never run out of people to play with, coz there's always the PinoyPercussionFreaks and GamerClan people ^_^ you guys rock!

damn! it's one helluva nice movie! Batman Begins rocks ass baby!!! (pardon me, i got carried away) ...you guys should definitely see this one! sorry i can't help it... i'll just mention some parts of the movie that i liked: *spoiler warning* ...there's one time when Bruce... nah! just kiddin! i'm not that rude haha!^_^ just gooo! and watch!!! it's a must-see!!!

today when i woke up, or actually nowadays when i wake up in the morning, i do remember my dreams... it's weird actually coz let's say compared to a month ago or two, i really don't remember what i've dreamt about (either i thought of something blank/nothing at all or i immediately forgot what it is) ...the dream that i remember this morning was actually a sort of continuation or a remake of an old, past dream... it's like i've dreamt about that before, same place, same people, but maybe a different plot, or my actions/decisions are quite different from the previous dream... i guess this happens to me nowadays because of the drink supplement i'm taking since last week... great great product! maybe i'll share something about this soon!

around 3 to 4 days ago, when i went to my ate's place, i saw our long lost pocket electronic slot machine that we bought from las vegas years ago... they house two AAA batteries but the battery cover was already missing... so i got it, took it home and placed in some new batts... yay! it worked! actually, it brought back old memories from our last trip to the US... my younger sister Mitch was fascinated by this pocket slot so we took turns in playing... most of the time we only got winnings of $20... it's lucky if you're able to get $100... but it eats up your credits quite fast! so we always have to reset the game just in order to have money again... then after a few minutes, all of a sudden, wow! $500!!! then i taunted my sister, "who's the man... huh? who's the maaaan???" while i flipped the pocket slot onto the bed to let her see my winnings... *blag* oh shit... the baterries separated... what was one became 3... hassle. Mitch didn't stop laughing ._. so i did too! lol!

last night, i watched ID4 again, then there's a part when Will Smith was pulling the alien out of the alien craft, then Will said, "who's the man? who's the man?" i laughed, then i remember what happened... goosebumps... wow. here we go again...

i usually encounter these events... and so, i have thought of my own theory: The Theory of Doubles. i'm not sure if some of you would experience these too, but i do most of the time... very often... the above story is just an instance of the many... what are the chances that that same line would be repeated? but this is not always the case... sometimes it's either a product, place, person, title, song, etc... it's very similar to deja vu, but in a different way. the given line or event, or whatsoever, will just pop out again in a different form, in a span of like days or weeks after i've experienced that thing...

there's a lot more stuff i have encountered but most of the time, they're just simple things... i remember around 3 weeks ago, i was eating Oishi Caramel Popcorn on the way to the mall, then when i got to Shangrila, wow, there's a girl that's eating the same thing... just what are the chances? one more, i just recently read The Da Vinci Code... i've encountered Mt. Vesuvius within the text... then 2 days after, i was flipping through some TV channels, then I stopped at Discovery channel, wondered what it is all about, and found out that the documentary was about Mt. Vesuvius... wah??? why? call it coincidence, but these aren't the only things i've encountered, there's a whole lot more!!!

*end of story* - - - i'll just post again soon other stuff that i'd remember and go through, especially nowadays... now i'm starting to wonder what's this all about or or what exactly is it? is it a gift, a talent/skill? is my mind playing tricks on me? i really wonder why...

anyway, ever wonder, why "deybs?" ~ grr. when i was registering this blog, i found out that "deevs" was taken! then i wondered who the hell used my name, so i went to the link to see who that is and, okay... her name is "deev"... bad trip! why'd she use "deevs?" hmmm... oh well, it's all good anyway ^_^

so where the hell did "deybs" come from? ~ before, my high school friends were still addicted to counterstrike, so where we played before (in GenEx), the person who's taking over the place was Nelia (i still remember the name), and everytime she calls me, or talks to me... she's like, "deybs! deybs!" wow... this is new!

i played Drummania V again at G4, and i'm changing my playing style starting yesterday ~ i'm not using auto bass anymore! (of course i'll still do sometimes when it's impossible for me to finish the song, but as much as possible, i won't)... although there's a drawback coz whatever song that i'd easily have a grade of S before, i sometimes end up only having a grade of A... but it's aight, i'll get there! and the fulfillment of using manual bass is just great! i realized that i could do off-beat patterns, and honestly, i was quite surprised that i'm getting it! but of course, i still need more practice. it's a long long way to go...

i'm looking forward to this Wednesday, June 15... i got a reserved ticket for Batman Begins at GB3, exciting!!! though i have to sacrifice a business meeting with my dad ._.

heeeey! first blog! i'm really not accustomed to this sort of thing... but it's okay, there's always a first time, as they say...

for some strange reason, i can't sleep... actually a while ago, i was already sleepy but it suddenly went away! ph well, now i don't know what time i'll wake up! i started playing Diablo II again (thanks to Matt!), even my sibs are playing too! ^^ now i'm pumping up my Druid and Barbarian *whoooooh!* ~ taunt

oh yeah, Happy Independence day to all pinoys and pinays! *salute*

today, after lunch, i went to Mega, the Gamer Clan (GC) group had an eyeball, so it was a chance to see some of the members... when i got to Club Synergy, there are 2 members there, sonar and cthuldawn... the others just got off from the place coz they will watch Shutter (people said the movie is nice) so i just played Drummania (9th mix) with them, then surprisingly, Habble came to Club Synergy coz i think he had some customers that day (what customers?!? lolz), then Habble and i decided to go to Shang and G4...

at Shang QPS, i played a game of Drummania too (10th mix) and yay! it was the first time for me to have a full combo in Rolling1000t00n! yatta!!! ^^~ then after, Habs and i had a session in GuitarFreaks (11th mix)... was worth every penny coz we reached encore stage -- Oni Hime (Demon Princess)! oh yeah! but the level is still to hard for me and i can't keep up with the pace and speed of the notes... i need a little bit more practice tho...

then we went to G4 and met lots of Pinoy Percussion Freaks (PPF) members there... all because of Timezone G4's newest drummania mix... Drummania V!!! actually, this is the 2nd dmV machine here in Manila, the first one is in QPS Rockwell, but the pads suck bigtime (last time i went there, it was like 2 months ago)... and TZ's dmV pads are hell a lot better, so we'd go for this one! and the people are just everywhere.

PPF members that are there: Habble (of course), Oni, Jake, Jeff, Matt, Mark, Rhanen, Kenji, Kezia, Kenneth (not sure if he's a member tho.)

it was okay, played a few times, tried new songs... Habs was able to unlock Fairy Tales, woooah! at last, i was able to see its video! the machine didn't rest since that morning, and it went on and lasted till 9:30pm... the machine had a great beating today, and as compared yesterday, the hi-hat sometimes didn't respond anymore (awww...) by Sunday, the machine will be transferred in front of TZ. honestly, the pads of drummania 10th mix are better and actually, some of the best pads i've ever tried playing onto... but Ate Weng (manager of TZ G4) said that they ordered a new set of pads, so the current pads in the drummania V will be replaced sooner (we hope!)

when i got home, there, i decided to do this blog... at least i have one now ^_^...
